Like in any other city, I experienced the mad rush of traffic in the morning when driving into downtown Duluth. The streets begins to fill up with men clad in dark business suits. A man in a big hooded coat heads home after his second shift at the bar, and the city bus drops off another load of people, some casually dressed for breakfast, others in formal attire for work. When the movement dies down, the city becomes a little bit desolate, but the people in it become easier to spot.
