Target shooting: keeping sharp in the off season

IMG_4140

If you are an avid waterfowl hunter like myself, it is important that you find ways to keep your hunting skills sharpened during the off season. While there are many factors that go into a successful hunt, solid wing shooting skills will increase your odds at taking home a few extra birds during the fall. As for any sporting activity, practice is the key to getting better.

I headed up to my favorite gravel pit this past week to do a little shooting with my best friend Alex Wolf. We try to get out and shoot as much as we can during the off season. It is really nice to be able to practice, and it really is a blast when you go.

While we always have a great time, safety is very important and should always be number one!
