Lake Voice, Statesman to live blog UMD homecoming parade

For the first time in 40 years, UMD is hosting a homecoming parade down town Duluth on Thursday, October 3rd, and the Lake Voice News team will be live blogging the whole thing. The parade is expected to start at 6:00 pm on Superior Street and 1st Avenue West and end on Superior Street and 4th Avenue West. Over 50 various UMD athletics and clubs and the mascot, Champ, will be participating in the march. UMD is bringing back the parade with intentions to connect the college scene with the community. Don't miss out on a chance to see the latest and the greatest of what UMD's students and faculty have to offer. Also keep a look out for representatives from the new 2013 Fall LakeVoice Team and opportunities to get involved with us. We will be live blogging the entire parade, so feel free to share your own images with us using the hashtags pictured below.
