Gnarfoodz aims to grow healthy produce for the community

Former and current students, who all crossed paths at UMD, decided that healthy eating options in town were slim. They decided to take matters into their own hands, and started Gnarfoodz, a collectively owned farm where they grow organic produce. After their first season, the co-owners learned the difficulties and rewards of farming. You can find Gnarfoodz every Wednesday at the Farmers' Market in the Kirby Bus Hub.
