Every Wednesday, local farmers from the region come to Kirby Bus Hub to sell their produce. Gaelynn Lea manages the farmers' market and says this is great place for students to find food that gives them an alternative to what you would find at the supermarket. Due to a cold spring, the market will take place every Wednesday until October 9th. For students interested in locally grown foods, they can go to Harvest Fest in Bayfront Park on Saturday, September 7th.
