Throughout its long history, Duluth has had a number of houses both built and lost. This is a catalogue of a small fraction of these houses with a comparison of a photo of the house and what stands there now. In comparing the photos we can see the small things that remain from a time lost: a tree that was once small but now stands fully grown, a leftover wall, remodeled buildings nearby. These photos help to tell the story of how Duluth has changed and, in a way, the way it will continue to change.
