This Saturday, April 27 Fitger's and A Place for Fido will host the Canine Carnival. The event will begin at noon and continue throughout the Fitger's complex until 3:00 p.m. There will be canine nutrition, veterinary services, adoption information, groomers, fitness and obedience trainers, pet care services of all kinds. A parade for doggies who like to dress up will begin at 1:00 p.m. and K-9s with kooky tricks can show off at 1:30 p.m.
April 27 is also "Show Your Mettle Day," a special day to celebrate Limb Loss Awareness Month. This special day will be celebrated at the Canine Carnival with a prosthetist that does custom braces and prosthetics for animals.
