Some people came to the Rex on Tuesday night to see the bands Fearless Moral Inventory and Gallus who were playing live. Others came for the cheap Jameson shots. But most of the crowd showed up to watch a few minutes of television. When the show began, the bar went silent and all heads turned toward the televisions as Duluth's own Trampled by Turtles performed "Alone" for their network television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman. The event was organized by Twin Ports Nightlife after Trampled by Turtles made the announcement on Monday. People found out about the event through Twitter, Facebook, and the Twin Ports Nightlife website.
Check out the interview with Erik Berry, mandolier for Trampled by Turtles.
