LakeCast: The Gimaajii Project finds a home in the old YWCA

In this week's episode of LakeCast, we take another look at ways that Duluth is reusing historic buildings. The American Indian Community Housing Organization (AICHO) began the Gimaajii Project in the old YWCA building on Second Street West. It is the first of its kind in the United States; it combines 29 units of supportive housing for American Indian families and a learning and cultural center for the more than 20 Native Tribes and Nations that are represented in Duluth.
