LakeCast: As local galleries open, Duluth artists find exhibit space and community

This week in LakeCast, we explore the rising trend of start-up art galleries in Duluth. It is cliche to say that making a living as an artist is hard, but Duluth local and UMD student Whitney Saurer is working to make her dream to be a painter come true. For some artists, creating and displaying their work is just a passionate hobby. The PROVE Collective is a group of artist that rent space at Norway Hall on Lake Avenue and allow community artists to show their art once a month. Picture This by LakeCast
