The perils of military presence in our community

On Saturday, March 26, there will be a talk at the College of St. Scholastica on “The Perils of Military Presence in our Urban Communities." The talk is led by Art Laffin, organizer, writer and speaker, for the Dorothy Day Catholic Worker Community in Washington, D.C. The community provides hospitality for the homeless and engages in non-violent civil disobedience against war and other injustice. The talk will take place at 7:00 p.m. in Room 249 of the Burns Wellness Center. The event is sponsored by the Duluth Chapter of Pax Christi.
